work habits of a maniac

i've realised that talking to myself does motivate myself to work.

here's an example:

"alright, sarah. just finish this damn essay framework thingy and then you can go and do whatever you want! yessss...whatever you want! doesn't that sound great? yeah..."

and before i know it, my foolscap pad, file and social studies textbook are on the table waiting for me to begin work.

MIRACLE!!

usually when it comes to work, i have the backbone of an octopus. (who, by the way, doesn't have any bones at all)

another miracle is that i finally attempted to clear my table today. by throwing all the comic books, (which mysteriously drifted down to my table with no apparent reason) onto my bed! haHA! take that!

wierd working habits part (b): whenever i think of something that i have to remember to do, i scribble it out on Mr. Whiteboard. i look like some insane maniac whenever i scribble on the board. today i scribbled that i had to remember to bring magazines, glue, scissors and markers for geog lesson tomorrow. then i realised i spelt scissors as "scissers". i whacked myself on the head and began laughing for 1 whole minute before i declared that i was crazy outloud and began fiddling with my tissue box.

get me into a straight jacket. NOW.
