of true predictions and miserable studyingfinally i have the clarity of mind to post again.
yesterday, true to what i had predicted, my sore throat escalated into a fever. there i was thinking:
there! i told me so!the fever started off at 38.0 at home. within the 7 minutes it took to hobble down to the doctor's, it increased to 38.7. The doctor i saw prescribed instant antibiotics. he asked me if i had any activities when school re-opened. i really loved the look on his face when i told him i had exams. i must have looked terribly despondent when i left his clinic because he kept thanking me profusely and held the door open while i lumbered out.
today, despite the lack of that annoying fever, i developed an even more annoying flu. the dustbin was chockful of tissues. just woke up from a nap after eating some decolgen.
i have received a MC, albeit a rather useless one, that proclaims me unfit for duty for a grand total of 3 days: from friday to sunday! it states helpfully that i had a high fever. if i'm not up to facing that horrendous hall air-con on monday, i may just shove that paper in front of the examinors to have me isolated. not to mention it would protect those around me from all the nasty germies floating around in the air.
so far it's been a new syndrome everyday. wonder what i'll get tomorrow? (wait...i've had sore throat, fever, flu...what else can i get? gastreonitis?)
jaaaaaaaaaa.
